Besides endeavors targeted towards its core goals in education, the Door of Awareness team also runs various ancillary ventures.
We also offer other ad hoc vocational skills courses for unemployed men from local underprivileged communities. These include Mobile and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) repairing courses. Both these areas are high in demand in Pakistan, and a short course with Door of Awareness has enabled these men to successfully secure jobs in their respective careers immediately after completing their chosen courses.
Our Charity School Incubation facility is built on our vision of reaching out to as many marginalized communities as possible. We provide incubation and start-up assistance to individuals or corporations who wish to set up free schools to give back to the community. Our team is able to provide extensive operational, academic and on-ground support to deliver quality education and vocational skills.
Our talented academic team provides free training sessions to teachers and school leaders of underprivileged schools. The training covers areas such as teaching methodologies, classroom management, and educational leadership. Teachers and academics can avail these training sessions at the Door of Awareness Head Office in Model Town by contacting us and booking a slot.
Door of Awareness organizes ad hoc free medical camps for its students and their parents. These camps focus on vaccinations, updating medical records, medical guidance and provision of basic medicines.
The Matriculation Project is focused on enrolling underprivileged students who have either failed or dropped out during their Matriculation program. Door of Awareness conducts specialized focused classes for such students to pass their exams and gain access to sustainable employment opportunities.
