The upsurge in Information Technology around the globe requires that our workforce is equipped with the necessary IT skills in order to remain relevant and competitive. The IT Training division at Door of Awareness focuses on girls and women with limited exposure and skills in IT. We seek to equip them with the necessary knowledge as well as skills that enhance their employability and competitiveness in the job market.

  • Courses

    Our course offers a thorough introduction to Windows OS and covers the essentials of various professional software such as Microsoft Office, Coral Draw and Adobe. The trainees learn these vital skills crucial to securing competitive jobs in the corporate world or start off their own freelancing work. More than 1500 women have been trained.We also offer other ad hoc vocational skills courses for unemployed men from the local underprivileged communities.

  • Training

    These include Mobile and UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) Repairing courses. Both these areas are high in demand in Pakistan, and a short course with Door of Awareness has enabled these men to gain employment. Be it as electricians or repairmen, our trainees have gone on to successfully secure jobs in their respective careers immediately after completing their chosen courses.
