School basic education (nursery class up-to class x)
DOA main project is to provide FREE QUALITY EDUCATION to the children in slums areas of Lahore, Toba Tek Singh, Farooqabad, Muridkey, and Gujranwala (Sukhana Bajwa) by working closely with the local residents as well as the parents of the children with order to make them aware of importance of education. DOA has a twofold aim of imparting education and enhancing the employability of the poor in order to enable them to earn sustainable livelihood for themselves.
Right now, Door of Awareness has 28 running schools in various cities of Punjab includes Lahore. Where more than 4,000 students are provided free education, including free books notebooks and stationery. We currently teach students from Pre-school to Matric according to the Punjab Textbook Board curriculum. All schools are equipped with computer labs and libraries.
